Asking where do I even begin? You’re not alone—many people feel unprepared to plan for death. I see loved ones everyday who were struggling to deal with their grief while hunting for passwords, subscriptions, car titles, mortgage accounts and bills.
As a death doula, attorney, and end of life planner I’m here to help with personalized support in creating your end of life plans, organizing digital assets and making sure your legal and health directives are completed and off your to-do list.
Death is hard. Make it easier on your loved ones by leaving behind a comprehensive roadmap of your wishes.

There’s nothing I love more than skipping the small talk and connecting with people on a deeper level. As soon as someone hears what I do, I can noticeably see the relief on their face at finding someone comfortable talking about death, dying and grief.
I’m in your corner, whether it’s to help initiate hard conversation with your parents or facing your own end-of-life plans. With years of training, a law degree, intimate knowledge of how to navigate the logistics of death, and a healthy dose of humor — we’re going to get through this together.

What to expect
We start by getting to know each other
If you’re not ready to hop straight into a session, let’s sit down to get acquainted first. During our initial conversation, we'll discuss what you’ve started in terms of planning (if anything), your preferences, values, and how we can best organize. This allows me to tailor my approach to meet you or your family’s individual needs and ensure we tackle what’s most important to you.
Create a roadmap for your loved ones
In your 60-minute session and 30- min follow-up, you’ll also have a safe space to ask all of your questions about death, dying, and planning your estate. We’ll identify what you need to prepare and give you access to my comprehensive End of Life & Legacy Planning Workbook to help organize and share important information with your loved ones. Whether it's ensuring your medical wishes are respected, or organizing your financial affairs, I work closely with you to understand your unique needs. Through thoughtful discussions and personalized guidance, I will help you navigate the complexities of estate planning, end-of-life decisions, and getting your digital life & assets organized. You will feel empowered to make informed choices that align with your values and preferences. You will walk away with a roadmap of what needs to be done and the confidence to do it.
Ongoing support & after loss services
I offer customized packages of ongoing support, to make sure you have the help (and accountability) you need. I'll guide you through each step of the process, including completing your tasks with you, helping you navigate difficult conversations with loved ones, working through any blocks or fears, and offering resources and referrals along the way.
In the end, you'll fulfill everything necessary to prepare for the future. You can have peace of mind—it starts with a plan.

Kind Words From Clients
Frequently asked questions
-
Everyone! (Who’s over 18, that is.)
The best time to plan is now.
If you’re thinking about it, you’re not too young. If you haven’t thought about it, you’re still not too young.
Unfortunately, none of us are guaranteed long lives, and we don’t know what the future holds.
-
No. I primarily work with young(ish) and healthy(ish) professionals and their loved ones: Millennials, Gen X, Gen Z, and older.
Legacy work is also for all generations. It’s never too early to be thinking about your financial future, how you want to be remembered, and what impact you want to have in this world.
Think of me as your accountability partner for something that’s been sitting on your to-do list, but never seems to get done

A non-medical professional who helps navigate the emotional, practical, and logistical aspects of death, dying and grief. (Note: “End of Life Doula” and “Death Doula” are used interchangeably.)
What a doula can do for you looks different at various points in your life. When you’re young(ish) and healthy(ish), a doula can help you prepare advance directives and end of life planning. I normalize something that is just a part of life but can still feel taboo.
As you age, I can help you or your loved ones with logistics for both pre- and post- death. We are here to hold space and help you feel supported.

No, I provide virtual services and can help anywhere you're located. As a former practicing attorney, I have a trusted network and can provide referrals to legal help for wills and trusts.

Starting a family, marriage or divorce, purchasing a home, making a higher salary, or illness are all big life changes that can signify it's time to create a plan.
Thinking ahead, organizing and planning now can free up brain space to focus on living your best life in the present and worrying less about the future.
Even if you don’t feel you have ‘enough’ to need these documents, it’s still important to start these conversations. If you become sick/ill or have an accident, your advance directives will allow your loved ones and medical professionals to understand and follow your medical wishes and make your personal values known.

Clarity and organization is the greatest gift you can give your loved ones. Planning ahead makes it easier for your family to act according to your wishes and handle logistics while grieving.
Avoiding these conversations when you’re young and healthy creates scenarios where your wishes may not be known or followed. You may also have time pressures and need to make important decisions from a place of fear instead of a place of empowerment.
-
While I’m a former attorney, I don’t draft your estate planning documents—I have great referrals for that part!
My focus is educating, helping think through your choices, and providing the space to make decisions that feel best for you and your family. Beyond the legal, we focus on getting your important documents and digital world organized so that should something happen, your family isn’t left struggling.
